  • Founder & Principal Coach

    Jeri is deeply passionate about helping people be their very best! This passion led her into Human Resources and continues to inspire her pursuits in Coaching and Education. She believes we all have a purpose on this earth, and she loves supporting those she teaches and works with as they fulfill their purpose!

    Prior to founding Journey Strong, Jeri was a human resources executive and consultant and earned her Gallup certification as a Strengths Coach in 2019 after over 10 years of consuming all things Strengths.

    A lifetime learner, she attended the University of North Dakota twice and earned two bachelor’s degrees (BS in Criminal Justice Studies with a Psychology minor and a BBA with a Management major) and her MBA. The learner bug bit again, and she earned her Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

    Professionally, Jeri has had the honor of working in a variety of industries and organizations that include large private family-owned, medium-sized publicly traded, and small companies owned by private equity. Roles have included recruiter, business partner, Regional Director of HR, and most recently, executive leadership team member as Vice President of Human Resources. Jeri has been fortunate to implement key strategies to support the long-term people health of the organizations she’s been a part of, including internship programs, succession planning, overhauls of performance management approaches, and improved engagement and culture.

    Personally, Jeri is married, a dog mom, and a moderately-obsessed hockey fan. She grew up in North Dakota and is very proud to have called North Dakota home.
